You may have received a message that the new NYS Workers' Compensation Medical Treatment Guidelines (MTGs) were scheduled to go into effect on January 1, 2021.
Due to the health crisis currently facing New York State, the MTGs will now go into effect in the second quarter of 2021, coinciding with the launch of OnBoard: Limited Release (timeline to be communicated in the coming months). Additionally, the effective date for the Board's Durable Medical Equipment Fee Schedule, and the date by which prescription refills must comply with the Drug Formulary, have also been changed to align with this timeframe.
