Subject Number 046-1132 Removal of Dr. William Thomas Delaney

Subject Numbers Regarding Health Provider Authorizations

Authorization No. 106095-3W

December 31, 2018

Pursuant to Workers' Compensation Law Section 13-d(2)(a), the Chair of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board has exercised her authority to remove Dr. William Thomas Delaney’s authorization to treat injured workers in the New York State workers’ compensation system effective December 31, 2018. Dr. Delaney's last known business address is:

105 Foster Road
Cropseyville, New York 12052

Dr. Delaney’s authorization to treat injured workers was previously temporarily suspended effective December 10, 2018 (Subject No. 046-1126). On December 18, 2018, the New York State Board for Professional Medical Conduct issued order No. 18-279 wherein Dr. Delaney agreed to surrender his license as a physician in the State of New York on the grounds that Dr. Delany admitted committing professional misconduct as defined in N.Y. Educ. Law § 6530(9)(a)(i) by having been convicted of committing an act constituting a crime under New York state law.

Dr. Delany is prohibited from rendering treatment and care to injured workers, and from conducting reviews of records regarding variance requests pursuant to 12 NYCRR § 324.3(b)(2)(ii)(a). Reports submitted by Dr. Delaney for services rendered prior to the date of his suspension on December 10, 2018, are valid, but are invalid for any services rendered on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Delaney for services rendered prior to December 10, 2018, should not be denied due to the removal of his authorization.

Any questions regarding the authorized lists should be referred to the Medical Director’s Office at 1 (800) 781-2362.
