Please be advised that, by Consent Order (BPMC No. 10-20), issued by the New York State Department of Health, State Board for Professional Medical Conduct (BPMC), effective February 15, 2010, Robert Stewart Epstein, M.D., admitted guilt to engaging in professional misconduct.

Pursuant to Workers' Compensation Law Section 13-d(5), the Chair of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board has exercised his authority to remove Dr. Epstein from the list of authorized physicians by revoking his authorization, effective April 5, 2010. Dr. Epstein's last known business address is 5112 W. Taft Road, Suite E, Liverpool, New York 13088.

Dr. Epstein is prohibited from rendering medical or other treatment and care to individuals who have suffered work-related injuries or illnesses. Medical reports submitted by Dr. Epstein for treatment rendered prior to April 5, 2010, are valid, but are invalid for any treatment rendered or examinations performed on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Epstein regarding treatment he rendered prior to April 5, 2010, should not be denied due to the removal of his name from the list of authorized physicians.
