Subject Numbers Regarding Health Provider Authorizations

December 31, 2019

Effective December 31, 2019, the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board is rescinding the designation of National Expert Witnesses, Inc. as an entity registered to derive income from independent medical examinations in workers’ compensation cases. This rescission is made pursuant to Section 13-n of the Workers’ Compensation Law and 12 NYCRR §300.2(e)(6)(iv). Pursuant to 12 NYCRR § 300.2(e)(6)(ii)(a)(3), National Expert Witnesses, Inc.’s name shall be removed from the list of registered entities effective December 31, 2019. This rescission is permanent. On the effective date of this rescission, the entity named above is permanently prohibited from deriving income from independent medical examinations in workers’ compensation cases. Examinations conducted prior to December 31, 2019 are valid.
