C140409 - Disability Benefits & Discrimination Unit Claims Processing System

Procurements

The New York State Workers' Compensation Board ("Board") utilizes a claims processing system, which includes a document image repository, automated electronic document workflow, and document image transfer capability, using LaserFiche Cloud for its Disability Benefits ("DB") unit. Additionally, the Board intends to use this claims processing system for the Discrimination ("DC") unit.

The Board is seeking to contract with a qualified vendor, authorized to do business in New York State, who can either assume responsibility for hosting, maintenance, and support of the Board's existing claims processing system, or implement a replacement system that uses LaserFiche Cloud and transfer all existing documents, data, and custom LaserFiche coding to that replacement system. The Board's current contract for hosting, maintenance and support of the current claims processing system expires August 18, 2023, and the Board is seeking to have a replacement contract in place, and the services transitioned to the replacement contract, prior to the expiration of the current contract to avoid interruption to critical Board operations.

The Board intends to procure these services pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law §163(6). This procurement opportunity is limited to New York State businesses certified pursuant to Article 15-A of the New York State Executive Law.
