to Treat Injured Workers

Please be advised that, by Consent Order (BPMC No. 11-223), issued by the New York State Department of Health, State Board for Professional Medical Conduct (BPMC), effective September 21, 2011, Vinay Aggarwal, M.D., did not contest the charge of negligence on more than one occasion.

Pursuant to Workers' Compensation Law Section 13-d(5), the Chair of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board has exercised his authority to revoke Dr. Aggarwal's authorization to treat effective February 27, 2013. Dr. Aggarwal's authorization to provide services in the New York State workers' compensation system was previously suspended effective July 5, 2012. Dr. Aggarwal's business address is 80 West Avenue, Brockport, New York, 14420.

Dr. Aggarwal is prohibited from rendering treatment and care to injured workers. Reports submitted by Dr. Aggarwal for services rendered prior to July 5, 2012, are valid, but are invalid for any services rendered on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Aggarwal for services rendered prior to July 5, 2012, should not be denied due to the revocation of his authorization.
