Temporary Suspension of Physicians Authorized to
Treat Workers' Compensation Claimants

John Roehmholdt, M.D. (Authorization No. 167540-4W)

Please be advised that the Workers' Compensation Board has temporarily suspended John Roehmholdt, M.D.'s authorization to treat injured workers in the New York State workers' compensation system effective September 21, 2012.

Dr. Roehmholdt is prohibited from rendering treatment and care to injured workers. Reports submitted by Dr. Roehmholdt for services rendered prior to September 21, 2012, are valid, but are invalid for any services rendered on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Roehmholdt for services rendered prior to September 21, 2012, should not be denied due to the temporary suspension.

Richard Rizzuti, M.D. (Authorization No. 103871-0W)

Please be advised that the Workers' Compensation Board has temporarily suspended Richard Rizzuti, M.D.'s authorization to treat injured workers in the New York State workers' compensation system effective September 21, 2012.

Dr. Rizzuti is prohibited from rendering treatment and care to injured workers. Reports submitted by Dr. Rizzuti for services rendered prior to September 21, 2012, are valid, but are invalid for any services rendered on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Rizzuti for services rendered prior to September 21, 2012, should not be denied due to the temporary suspension.

Pierce Ferriter, M.D. (Authorization No. 145930-4B)

Please be advised that the Workers' Compensation Board has temporarily suspended Pierce Ferriter, M.D.'s authorization to treat injured workers and to perform independent medical examinations in the New York State workers' compensation system effective September 27, 2012.

Dr. Ferriter is prohibited from rendering treatment and care to injured workers and from performing independent medical examinations. Reports submitted by Dr. Ferriter for services rendered prior to September 27, 2012, are valid, but are invalid for any services rendered on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Ferriter for services rendered prior to September 27, 2012, should not be denied due to the temporary suspension.

Matthew Bennett, M.D. (Authorization No. 250570-9W)

Please be advised that the Workers' Compensation Board has temporarily suspended Matthew Bennett, M.D.'s authorization to treat injured workers in the New York State workers' compensation system effective August 15, 2012.

Dr. Bennett is prohibited from rendering treatment and care to injured workers. Reports submitted by Dr. Bennett for services rendered prior to August 15, 2012, are valid, but are invalid for any services rendered on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Bennett for services rendered prior to August 15, 2012, should not be denied due to the temporary suspension.
