Frequently Asked Questions

How Many Documents Can I Load at a Time?

The limit of the number of documents you can load at one time is determined by the amount of memory you have allocated to your browser and how much of that has been allocated to the Java Virtual Machine which is actually running the eCase application and the Document Viewer.

As a practical matter, however, Board staff recommends that you limit each request to no more than five documents.

Loading more than five documents at a time places a bit of a strain on the document server and may result in significant delay in delivery of the documents to your computer.
