The mileage rate for reimbursement to injured workers for travel by automobile on or after January 1, 2022, is 58.5 cents per mile, in accordance with the Board resolution adopted on February 20, 1990.

In those instances where injured workers are entitled to reimbursement for travel expenses, insurers will reimburse injured workers for travel in accordance with this rate.

These rates are posted annually by the Office of the New York State Comptroller and are based on the standard mileage allowance established by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).
