Subject Numbers Regarding Health Provider Authorizations

Pursuant to Workers' Compensation Law Section 13-d(4), the Chair of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board (“Chair”) exercised her authority to temporarily suspend Dr. Ramkumar Panhani’s authorization to treat injured workers in the New York State workers’ compensation system effective September 1, 2018, through and including March 31, 2019 (Subject Number 046-1096).
The Chair has ended the temporary suspension of Dr. Panhani and has reinstated his authority to treat injured workers effective April 1, 2019. The Medical Director’s Office will restore Dr. Panhani’s name to the list of providers authorized to treat injured workers as of April 1, 2019.
