Revocation of Dr. Ralph N. Wharton, M.D.

Pursuant to Workers' Compensation Law Section 13-d (5), the Chair of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board has exercised her authority to revoke Dr. Ralph N. Wharton’s authorization to treat injured workers within the New York State workers’ compensation system effective October 25, 2018. Dr. Wharton's last known business address is:

Investigation has revealed that the New York State Department of Health, State Board for Professional Medical Conduct (BPMC) has issued a public advisory that Dr. Wharton’s license to practice medicine in New York State has been voluntarily permanently surrendered pursuant to Public Health Law § 230(13), effective October 18, 2018.

Dr. Wharton is prohibited from rendering treatment and care to injured workers. Reports submitted by Dr. Wharton for services rendered prior to October 25, 2018, are valid, but are invalid for any services rendered on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Wharton for services rendered prior to October 25, 2018, should not be denied due to the revocation of his authorization.
