Flat File Transmission of Claim Information
How to Register
To register to send Claim form information in flat files, a representative of your company needs to complete the online registration form. The form requires your company representative to enter information about your company including the following:
- Contact information, and
- Your company's WCB Identification Number (required). For Insurance Companies and Self-Insured Employers the WCB Identification Number is the Carrier Identification Number assigned by the Board that starts with a "W". For Licensed Representatives, it is the "R" number, and for Third Party Administrator's it is the "T" number assigned by the Board. If your business does not have a WCB Identification number you should contact the Board's Help Desk to request one be assigned.
After submitting the registration, the person noted as the administrator on the registration will be contacted by a member of the WCB technical staff to discuss the technical details, including the process for how to get started.
