RSS -Really Simple Syndication is an XML format used to share web content. It allows you to "subscribe" to sites of interest and notifies you when that content is updated.
Feed Reader or News Aggregator software checks your subscribed feeds regularly for new content and displays them for you to read and use.
Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, and Safari 2 web browsers all support RSS directly, or there are a number of free and commercial RSS Feed Reader or News Aggregators are available for download. Searching any popular search engine for "RSS Feed Readers" will produce many software options which can be PC or web-based and many are free or not very expensive.
